Drama in the Woods

Drama in the Woods is an 8-wk out-of-doors after-school program for Grades 1-3 at Sullivan West Elementary School. Participants will improvise stories, make masks, music and sets, and use movement to create and perform an original production inspired by Uno’s Garden, Graeme Base’s story of a forest rich with phantasmagoric animal and plant life that is slowly and almost irretrievably eroded by the needs of the people who begin to inhabit and tame that special place.

Saturday Forest Play

Saturday Forest Play is an 8-week program held on Saturday mornings from 10AM-12PM beginning April 18th, 2020 and running through June 6th. Based on the European model of ‘Forest School’, participants will engage in fun outdoor activities, learn craft and teamwork skills, embark on adventures, develop resilience, confidence, independence, and a strong bond with nature.
